Cozy ready for her preschool concert! She loves Shirley Temple and so I curled her hair in ringlets and she is wearing a kind of "Shirley-ish" dress we got her for her bday!

25 days to go and I am ALL BIG Belly! (sorry Bad picture, but whatever!)
My one complaint besides everything else that comes with the last month of pregnancy is calf cramps in the night!!! OUCH! Anyone have a cure??
The OB said my uterus is growing OUT rather than UP.....ya think so?!

Happy Bday COZY #4!

We love our little COZY! For her birthday party she really would have been content with anything. She is much like her dad and aunt Liz in that she didn't want cake, but brownies. Dad is the brownie lover and Liz, the cake hater! The park was the plan A (so that I wouldn't have to host it at my house) BUT a storm came in Wednesday night and we went to plan B! I think I will be taking Tylenol for the next few days and resting with my feet up.

FOUR of my favorite current things COZY does.....
1. when daddy comes home she always says," I missed you ALL day today DAD!"
(wouldn't you love a greeting like that after a hard day at work?)
2. when you ask her to do something she usually responds with, "OH SURE!"
3. she tells it HOW IT IS (don't most 4 yr. olds)! like that her preschool teacher needs tic tacs cuz her breathe is stinky (too much morning coffee) and that she'd rather be a ROCK STAR cuz...." mom, I didn't know that happened!" looking at my big belly is disgust!
4. She laughs hysterically when I play OPERA in the car or as she calls it "OPRAH".

NMN

My brain is true putty right now! Can't even make sense of Atticus' homework let alone get through a page of Readers Digest. Besides my brain, I have given up my 3 times a week walking for 30 min+ on Riverwalk. After I finish one time around I feel like the baby is on its way out. The old lady with the walker continues to lap me....bad sign!
So, good news is that we have both the baby names picked out! I feel so silly when people ask what names we have picked out and then I don't share. It's not like we are holding back for any other reason but to have it be a DOUBLE surprise. We are not worried about people "taking" the names which I still to this day don't understand that. Just as I really don't understand how anyone could believe a tampon can get you pregnant!
With my BAD brain and lack of time, Benny and I are still trying to find a middle name if its a boy. I know asking this is hard since we aren't giving the first name, but please any suggestions are helpful!
I think we like 3 syllable names, but whatever!
I am totally UP for a NMN (no middle name). I was a NMN and have survived just fine. Aren't middle names all about not being able to decide on ONE name?
Both are kids have family middle names which I really would like to keep that going, but we have gone through most and they just don't fit.
So, if you have a second and some brain power give us your ideas on middle names for boys.

This IS a birthday to be remembered!.....
My brother and his family of now 6 (Louisa is not even a month old!) have moved from Geneva, Switzerland to Dallas, TX just this past weekend! I am sure they are still trying to adjust to the time change, the fact that everyone speaks English, and a new place to call HOME! I haven't seen their family in 2 years! This photo was taken at a family gathering at Disney in the spring before they left!
One of many things I love about my brother is that he has the BEST sense of humor!
He plays embarrassing games at restaurants that my husband now has implemented into our family. Ya know the kind that make people stare or get you close to getting kicked out? I can handle "PASSING FORKS" or saying "AH" louder than the person next to me, but the "PUNCH LINE" game makes me totally blush!

JUST spring STUFF.....

My friend Chandra is a month ahead of me. I know it looks like I'm ahead. She looks like she is carrying a football and me....a basketball. I'm glad I only get big in the belly and don't have to deal with swollen ankles or whatever.

Daddy is doing an awesome job at nesting! This garage project has been in my head for years! Now that we have 3 cars it was TIME! Didn't he do a FAB. job?



The pear trees came out and we got photos.....of our friends! I wasn't really in the mood for a family photo, but the Hinckleys were and they look GREAT! We had both our camera and theirs. The kids had fun riding bikes and getting in the way!

Pregnancy Chicken Pox?

I have this itchy bumpy rash on my belly. I've had it for two weeks and it is now spreading to my arms. It only itches at night really, but then I wake up to not only using the bathroom several times, but to itching like a dog! Benny thinks its PUPPS, but I haven't gotten my OB's approval on that one so I'm still not sure. I actually forgot to mention it at my last visit. I have the forgetful brain problem STILL too! I may post some photos of it but don't want to scare anyone. Cozy is now convinced that she is NO WAY getting a "baby belly". The girl has now chosen the career of a ROCK STAR rather than to be a Mother. I don't blame her right now!
I recently had some photos taken and I will post them soon (belly covered). I look like I am hiding a basketball under my shirt. I am so round that I am getting the "do you have a watermelon under there?" comment. I actually said this twice to strangers...... "I would expect that comment from a man, but from someone who has done this before!" and then I shake my head and leave.
Yeah, it's that TIME when all inhibitions are completely shed!
