You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land, there is no other life but this.” ~Henry David Thoreau

COZY's First Tooth OUT!

I came in the other night to find Daddy pulling on Cozy's Loose tooth. I think they should come out naturally like a surprise, but Benny likes to make it happen. He likes to do c-sections too...making babies come out. I guess its who he is! He did remind me that Atticus' first tooth came out while we were at Banjo Creek Farms and dropped on the floor in a pile of small rocks. We never found that one!
Isn't Cozy looking so much older? Its ALWAYS bittersweet when they lose their baby teeth!! I usually cry, but I held it together this time!

Remember this? This was the last time a tooth was pulled out of a childs mouth in our family and I had nothing to do with it (except take the pictures!)

Trick o' Treating

What we dressed up as:
Dad- came straight from work. He was just cold. He won for the Scariest at our Haunted House for sure!! (see below post)
Me- Party Witch (the cute and happy kind o' witch). After I realized the orange and black striped tights were for kids it made me feel better that I couldn't get them over my butt. I cut the feet and they worked. My holiday angora sweater with jewels came in handy finally and yes, I was in a leotard and tutu. Yikes!
Atticus- something scary that went along with our Haunted House.
Cozy- this girl changes her mind like she changes her clothes. Last minute was a FANCY CAT. (I think she just wanted to wear the furry coat)
Scarlett- the cutest dog on the block!
Everyone here goes downtown chelan to the businesses. No door to door. Its fun because you see all your friends and get lots of treats quick!

The Haunted Mansion of Manson

We ALL agree that this years haunted house was the best ever!

We did it Saturday and Monday night and even had some helpers. The coolest and newest part was Benny constructed a tunnel from our laundry room through our room and out to the hall.
You had to crawl through it and bones and things were hanging from all over. Also, we added a small corn field in the front yard with scarecrows and one that chased you and made you pee your pants! Good times!
Benny was the tour guide this year and as you can see from photos.....Scary! We had some people drive by and then kids decided they were too scared to come in. Great turn out overall!
I was worried Scarlett would be freaked out, but she thought it was all very funny! The photos really don't do justice to what it was like! Enjoy!
