You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land, there is no other life but this.” ~Henry David Thoreau

Mummy Pops

I heart HALLOWEEN, but never again will I spend my evening hours creating these OREO mummy pops! So very cute, but not worth the time if you ask me! The kids are excited to take them to school on Friday and so I guess its ALL worth it!
(This is what you do instead of going to bed early with a baby that wakes you up a couple times in the night! I say ...Embrace the sleep deprivation!)
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Trick or Treat smell my feet......

VOTE for what you think Scarlett should be for her first Halloween.
"KITTY and kitty friends"

"What should I BEE?"

This is Atticus' lego scene I promised he could do if he helped me with the photo shoot.

HALLOWEEN WREATH

My friend RISA is very inspiring! She has more energy than many people I know. Check out her website if you want to get an idea
www.restlessrisa.blogspot.com
Another amazing thing is that she is pregnant and still cranking out the fabulousness! I kid her that she shouldn't be taking speed when she is pregnant!
Anyhow, I wanted to get a Halloween wreath, but thought I should probably save the money and make one. So, I spotted a site on restlessrisa and saw this cute wreath that Cozy and I did in a couple hours (tatertotsandjello.blogspot.com)! It is so much cuter in person and I altered the idea a bit to make it kid friendly. All I did was use the glue gun for the attaching!
An evening with the boys fishing, the baby asleep, and Cozy and I having a great crafty time with cute ribbon!! Did I use the word "cute" enough?

get the stuff:
cute ribbon (Cozy picked lots of poka dots, round thing (can be found at craft stores), glitter glue, glue gun, number 31, orange marker, gorilla glue (didn't even use it so never mind!)

color numbers

glitter glue numbers (glitter plus glue is too messy for me!)

wrap with ribbon and make a handle

cut ribbon 4inches (about 10-12 each per ribbon)

glue it in loops and stick it on.

numbers were glued on with wooden orange beads I had.

FINI.

Scarlett's Blessing

We had a great time at Andy & Britt's wedding, getting together with the Dame family, and Scarlett's blessing day!
Thanks to Shelli Dame for the great photos!
These are just a few selected that were my favorite!
