you likey High School?
So, we have XM radio in our new car. If you don't have it, you get your pick between static and the local Kozi radio which to me is a yard sale half of the time. Benny and I love that we can listen to 90's station and reminisce about the music we listened to as teens. I was even shocked to find out that his HS dances were X rated so he went to "church" dances which I am sure was the total opposite. I have great memories of my HS "stomps" in which, unless I was totally unaware, they were always good clean fun?! I think each dance I burned a ton of calories which I would really need now in my life. I really didn't care what people thought and just went crazy. Benny teases me and I have heard this line a hundred times that "if he had known me in HS he wouldn't have liked me!" I agree that may be true, but I have no regrets and had a good time! I had good friends which I still have today and they aren't in jail! Which leads me to other questions. I am starting to forget some stories. I was reminded most recently by my brother who ran into my Humanities teacher in Europe that I was, to put in nice, "dancing to the beat of my own drum". Greg, what did he say? What he probably meant was "hard to handle". I am starting to see some of myself in Atticus and wonder if those of you can "remind" me of what things I did so that maybe I won't punish him so badly. I just hope he channels his energy into creative things. Already he has organized a "school" LEGO club without any permission by getting kids at recess to sign up. I made Benny go to parent teacher conferences this time, so I haven't heard much from that end. I am sure I will get some parents calling me this summer wanting to know more about this. Ya know, when they can drop off their kids, how much they owe me, etc. This is good channeling right? So, those that can enlighten me please do and I will just wait.... and in the meantime I will be in my car listening to Madonna.

WAZ UP?!

Saturday they took out the back row of apple trees. It was kind of cool! I really wanted to be the one driving the truck into those trees. Now we are down to one row. I guess grapes aka wine are doing better?! Behind the apple trees are rows and rows of grapes which smell so good when they are ready.

Benny at his "other" operating table. He just loves his projects! He put a lattice up in no time!

I finally decided to do it! After maybe 4 vacuum cleaners in our marriage lifetime (one that was stolen and one that a babysitter decided to vacuum throw up in) I sold the farm and bought this gem! My mom has one, my cousin heidi has one, and I love mine! It is a dyson and it runs like "butter". It sucks like crazy and is so quiet! Sad to say, but a new love of mine!

Besides magazines (readers digest, time, people, Oprah, etc) I have taken once again to the Twilight series. I was too sick to focus on reading in the fall and after reading this one I now see why it would have been a bad idea. As with Bella, I also don't know what I am pregnant with. Hee!
Hmmmm. I am finding that I am trying to get through it rather than enjoying it. Too much for me too handle right now! That movie will be SO weird!! Are you a Breaking Dawn fan or do you think the author went a little crazy?
Family Home Water Balloon Fight
My kids are the first to sense that its time to wear their swimsuits (APRIL?) and talk about what to be for Halloween. We have even tried to dodge a discussion of what to ask Santa for!?
It was a warm night so we got our aggression out and threw some water balloons! I watched! We also did learn about Heavenly Father though some of Cozys remarks take me back to my sunbeam class.... "I have a question about dogs!" Hmmmm...

PROS/CONS
I have recently discovered the Pros and Cons to not finding out the sex of your baby.
I know, a little slow on figuring this out. Oh well, too late.
Cons:
~you get YELLOW baby outfits (I really didn't think anyone would give me anything. I am pretty set as it is with clothes from the other kids. My babies are bald and pale, so its not a great color! Nice though that people are so thoughtful!
~ the realization of a little one coming soon is hard for others esp. ATTICUS & COZY.... They don't have a name to call it or a room to associate with it!
~ The guest room sits as a "guest room" and your nesting skills have to go to places like the pantry.
~ picking out a name for both a girl and a boy (any more BOY suggestions??)
Pros:
~the "guest room" isn't changed into the baby room and there is no pressure to lift a finger in preparation. I guess I will just read my book!
~ save the money on other things instead of shopping for baby clothes.
~ the look on peoples faces when you tell them you're not finding out (I am learning that it is a rare thing these days)
~ the SURPRISE at the end I am sure!!!!!

Room Makeover
I give no credit to myself other than the steal I got on the bed frame and the duvet cover that I kept waiting on for a sale. It all started with the white ceiling and the fan, a little march madness, and Benny and his mad skills.
The final touch will be a tropical smelling candle and a sailboat sculpture?!
The pony sheets Cozy has was probably a close second to the birds, but they only came in a queen. I think Benny would have gone nuts with that! He is slowly enjoying our tropical bird duvet (the pineapple lamp is ALL him but I love it too).
We just love our new room and feel a tad bit like we are on vacation!

Spring Break (more like Winter) in UT.....
I wasn't too motivated to do a whole lot while in UT, but it's always fun to watch the kids play at my moms house. They had a list before we got there! Because it snowed they weren't able to go to the fav. castle park up the street, but everything else was checked off. They are always entertaining themselves and it's a nice break for me. Lincoln logs, my little ponies, littlest pet shop (old school toys that Liz had in the day) Some other photos in no order: Cousin twins that we have never met (an ATTICUS sandwich...fav. photo), caught the GOAT jumping the fence, RISA makes an "april fools" dinner of wafer pb nuggets and taffy peas, playing cards with the BROS., Atticus' night out with mimi & mia for movie/dinner, nail painting with Cozy, egg painting with master artist auntie MIA! ETC.
I slept in 2 days and wore my jammies all day SUNDAY! Benny worked out at GOLDS and played with his BROS. most the time!
That about says it all!
