Family Home Twister.
The activity in our Monday nights has gone from laughter to sadness in a matter of minutes. Who thought kids under seven would really grasp the concept of not only left and right feet & hands, but keeping them on the right spot.... ya right! Dad wonders why every time wrestling with kids ends up in tears or even throwing up. I always just sit back and watch, take a few photos, and be there to console when Dad becomes "The Meanest Ever!" No one ever dares to mess with Mom, right?!

Some random things we THINK we have learned in our 11 years of marriage.....
~ Love is hard work that takes compromises, sweet compliments, and a real listening ear(and doing the dishes without asking).
~ Time shares even with prizes & dreamy sales pitches are a total waste of time!
~ homemade Chocolate chip cookies make any horrible day much better.
~ Flowers for all occasions really do fall off of trucks!
~ Our motto, which we made early in our marriage, "Wealth is Wasted on the Old", is a hard one to follow in such poor economic times.
~ raising children is tough, but worth it!
~ folding underwear is not necessary.

Please not:This year we will be switching our anniversary date to July 11th! Some of your may recall that the date 7-11 was our original wedding day. Every year we are so focused with Atticus' celebration (March 8th) that we let our day kind of slide by. So, make a note, mark your calendar, and remember to hit your local 7-11 store for your choice of a Happy Dame Anniversary Slurpee, on us!! (Okay, so their free anyway that day!)

Happy Birthday Atticus # 7!

Seven things we love about our Atticus.....
~When he is sweet he is SUPER sweet! (he calls me his "adorable sweet little mommy"...sometimes)
~He is the life of any party and a great friend!
~He is sensitive and cries easily!
~If we could bottle up his energy and make cash off it, we would be rich!
~His laugh is contagious!
~He is always plotting new ideas and things we should do!
~His charm and personality already gets him through doors or free stuff!

My neighbor, Janet, called to tell me that Benny was mentioned in the local paper. I got a copy and thought it was sweet! I know he's that kind of doctor and man because I married him, but its always nice to see he is truly appreciated here!

Blah Blah.

Not much to blog about these days just everyday life which is good because drama is usually on the table for the month of March! I thought I would throw in the everyday photos and update you on the "blah blah" of the 4lakedames. March has always been a tough month for me so I hope I can just get through it. I am running 3 miles most days and hoping to get ahead of my usual spring training. Benny is very busy at work! After a weekend without him (he went from thurs-sun night to UT for brothers baby blessing"S"~twins) I am tired and the house is a mess! He was called in the other night to check on an OB patient and I didn't even know he had gone. I was so out! Cozy continues to find scissors and loves to cut anything (her hair included...notice the short skater do). She has also taken to putting clips in her hair, but seems to put them right on top or in the back. In the photo she is taking advantage of Atticus "zoned" on the computer and does his hair! She is so full of it! Atticus is excited about his "batman" birthday this saturday and I am still looking for spring get-a-ways to somewhere warm (looks like San Diego at the end of the month...one day I'll go back to Maui, one day)! Happy Spring and March Madness (and I don't mean sports)!
